My Vision

To go where God has called me, serving who He has called me to serve - praying, listening, and always directing back to Him.
My Offerings
•Monthly 1 ½ hour prenatal visits beginning at 5 months where we build a relationship of trust and understanding; explore your birth vision, values, and intentions together; and prepare ourselves mentally, physically, and spiritually for your birth.
•Access to my tools, and assistance using them during prenatal visits- manual blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, fetoscope, tape measurer, doppler.
•24/7 phone and text support beginning at the time of hire until 6 weeks postpartum.
•On-call availability beginning 3 weeks before your estimated due date until birth.
•Continuous labor support from the moment you notify me, including regular phone calls and text message check-ins until I join you at the birth location.
•My continual presence and physical, emotional, practical, and spiritual support during your birthing time and up to 3 hours after birth.
•Access to contents of my birth bag during labor. Items include fetoscope, Pinard horn, Doppler, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, cord clamps, scalpels, tape measurer, gloves, mirror, ambu bag, birth kit, emesis bags, essential oils for topical use and/or aromatherapy, birthing ball, peanut ball, rebozo, massage oil and tools, reflexology comb, eye mask, headband headphones, electric heating pad, handheld fan, herbal tinctures, hand held mirror, baby scale and more.
•Photos and/or videos as previously agreed upon.
•Birth timeline/notes from my perspective.
•2 in-home postpartum visits of 2 hours, supporting you and your family in whatever ways you need, from light housework, entertaining older children, meal preparation, newborn care, birth processing, breastfeeding support, and physical and emotional support.
•Additional postpartum visits can be added at a rate of $50 per hour.
•Unlimited borrows from my lending library.
•Regular emails and texts with content pertinent to your stage of pregnancy and current concerns.
•1 notarized witness letter for use in acquiring birth certificate and social security number for your baby, if applicable and desired.
•Everything included in the Rooted Offering.
•Rental of birth pool, pump, and hose.
•Labor-aid (electrolyte drink) prepared and brought to birth.
•Groaning cake prepared and brought to birth.
•Snacks prepared and brought for birth.
•2 postpartum meals which can be prepared and brought before or after birth depending on your preference.
•Perineum healing herbs to be used for a sitz bath and/or in a peri bottle.

My Beliefs
I believe in God. I believe in seeking God in all I do. I believe that birth work is spiritual work. I believe that to be invited into a woman’s birth space is honorable, sacred, and something I take incredibly seriously.
I believe words are incredibly powerful. I choose my words thoughtfully because I know the power they hold. I believe that pregnancy and birth are unique times when a woman can be incredibly vulnerable, and special care must be taken when we speak about pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.
I believe that our minds are incredibly powerful and our thoughts create our reality. One of my favorite affirmations from Hypnobabies is, “That which you dwell upon most, will indeed come to pass.” And Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
I believe that anything outside of what a mother and baby do instinctually is a disturbance to them in birth. I believe that pregnancy and birth are transformative and a rite of passage into motherhood.
I believe that a live baby is the bare minimum, not the goal. I believe that the goal should be a healthy and resilient mother and baby, with a birth that draws us all nearer to the Lord. I believe birth matters, and how a woman feels in birth can follow her for the rest of her life. I believe that how a baby is born has lifelong consequences.
I believe nutrition is the most profound thing you can do with your physical body to have a healthy and enjoyable conception, pregnancy, birth, baby, and postpartum period. I believe in getting macronutrients and micronutrients from whole foods whenever possible.
I believe in trusting a woman’s intuition, always. I believe that childbirth is normal until proven otherwise. I believe that babies will be born just fine no matter where you are or who is in attendance.
I trust God and I respect birth. I believe that God made a good design in birth. I believe that God is the only authority and the giver of life and death. I believe in every woman’s ability to birth her baby. I believe in you.
